From: Roland Winston

On Shift: R. Tesarek and R. Winston

Hours of beam available at all intensities:
Hours of beam available at nominal intensity:0
Hours of E799 data (special runs not included):0
Hours of special runs (laser scans, muon runs...):1 hour

Accounting of lost time:only 1 hour of muons,otherwise no beam.
kfrends, swapping tapes and no beam....
========================================================================
Runs ended this shift:
Run BEAM_799 # 15227
Run BEAM_799

Tapes brought to FCC this shift:
(including tapes for online split)
no tapes were brought to FCC

========================================================================
Accesses during shift: several (see log below)

========================================================================
Overview of shift:
We started the shift with 150 Gev accelerator studies in progress, and no
beam to KTeV. However, we did get some useful muon data at 150Gev beam
conditions. A number of useful tasks were accomplished (see below for
details)

Description of Shift:

17:15 Rick starts working on the data crate #8 problem
previously observed.
19:00 control room informs us we have 150 Gev beam on
15227 16 19:30 our target, we will try a muon run with
NM4AN on (-600A)to measure the
muon spectrum.Lower NM2S2 from 300 A to 0A.NM2S1
set at 550A (nominal)
20:00 Beam off for accelerator KAMI studies; Rick
resumes crate #8 studies.
20:30 Bob T. and Sasha make controled access (see log
book for details)
21:15 Rick declares crate #8 working (for now)
22:00 Hogan and Rick make access for various tasks,
including rerouting HV to DC4, removing several
DC or's from DC4, terminating RF signals in Crate
51.
