Take a little data, then sit around and make sure the detector isn't in
flames.

Description of Shift:

14987 16:20 Scaler trigger alarms start occuring, but we're
not that far out of range and beam is going away
soon - ignored for now.
14987 187 16:32 Beam goes away; stop run. Run does not end
gracefully; histograms are lost but there are
EOF marks on the tapes.
16:56 Beam stop closed via crash switch in control room.
17:04 Start cosmic run for JasonL with fake spill
signal.
17:49 "4x is now fully functional." - JasonL
19:00 Julie and Angela go on access to put in TLDs and
get gas samples.
20:00 Gas checklist done. It was not done by the day
shift!!
