Overview of shift:

Lots of environmental control problems.

========================================================================
Description of Shift:

ECS arrives at about 13:00 to do simple walk through and finds RickT
with doors open dealing with temperature problems. CsI humidity is also
just above alarm level ("BlckH-Dn" = 10.8-11%). [See KTeV Log XXII,
pages 133-134.] Soon after, Leonard Nelson arrives and begins to bring
matters under control. By about 14:30 we have BlckH-Dn = 9.8-10.2% and
reasonable temperatures in electronics area and control room. Duty
officers will check regularly on operation of chiller at southe end of
building, etc.

ECS completed Gas Checklist -- found that information has not been
recorded there for about 2 days and corrects some past He tubem entries
which were in error. Also found NM3SP1A&B (sump pumps) in alarm state
during walk-through -- reported to LeonardN -- appears to be just a
residue from the last power outage.

All appears to be well with environmental conditions which will let us
hold on safely until Monday.

Rick T is also here and Thermo-flow technician comes in to work on main
BRY-AIR unit.
