Overview of shift:
E.g., calibrate CsI, E832 datataking

Readout meltdown with continuous ktevana errors due to "unidentified
module error" in crate 148. This turns out to be the kumquat crate
for DC4X. Jason L is called in and the problem is eventually solved
by reseating a control card.

There may be a problem with two scaler modules which are suspected to
be only 24 bits. This will be looked into during the next downtime.

The counting rate of the 90 deg monitor is unstable. This will be
looked at on the next down day.

During a downtime due to a quench a tech investigated noise which
was thought to result from the SCR for NM4AN. The power supply and
magnet checked out fine.

The ring counter thresholds for RC6-10 were raised starting with
run 14664. The thresholds are now believed to be set at the same
values used by E799 during the '97 summer run.

Some detector problems noticed in going through kumacs:
RC mean ADC distribution (new)
RC source timing (noted last night)
DC4Y plane 16 inefficient (noted last night)
FPEDCAL - delta peds in crate 11 unhappy
