Overview of shift: smooth E832 datataking until power trip at 22:54

Description of Shift:

run spill time comment
------------------------------------------------------------------------
14094 15:30 Inherit run, but no beam.

203 15:48 Beam returns.

18:30 SEM is low, hanging around 3.6 - Call MCR, they
are tuning beam.

338 18:50 Take 1 spill with beam way off target (vertical
off by at least 7 units). Beam back on target
for next spill.

19:05 Onsplit requests tape QKN018 be mounted.

520 22:54 There is a sudden and brutal power glitch.
Various main frames trip(5,6,9,12,13,14) and
regenerator stops moving. TV reports cause of
outage is a failure in a proton feeder, disabling
beam to neutrino line (crash button pushed in
anyway), electrical experts in route. No estimate
on beam. Jason H. arrives and fixes/checks CsI high
voltages along with HA, BA, CA.
NM2 seems to be without power.

23:10 Stop run 14094. Tapes are 93%, so we go ahead
and change them. Start COSMIC run (no disk or
tape writting) until we know what is what.

24:00 Hand off to sad owl crew.
